BIO
Daniel Cardoza is a multidisciplinary designer based in Brooklyn, NY, with expertise spanning branding, identity, motion, experiential design, digital platforms, and more. Originally from Houston, TX, he graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Houston in 2016 with a BFA in Graphic Design, where he also taught design courses from 2020–2023. He was the winner of Command X at the 2017 AIGA Conference in Minneapolis.
Since beginning his career, he has led numerous design projects both independently and collaboratively in studio and agency settings. He has worked with cultural institutions, nonprofits, artists, entrepreneurs, small businesses, restaurants, studios, and agencies to craft impactful narratives and immersive experiences.
His work is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and intentionality, balancing strategy and storytelling to create meaningful experiences. His multiracial heritage gives him a unique perspective of identity, shaping his approach to design and creative problem-solving. Influenced by his Latin American heritage, he gravitates toward bold colors and forms.
Beyond design, Daniel has way too many hobbies—his curiosity fuels his passion for music production, sound, photography, martial arts, bikes, secondhand, nature, fostering genuine connections, and more.
